So you found this guy named David Suh on the internet through Google, Instagram, Facebook, or maybe a friend told you about him and you’re curious. You’re curious what all this “experience being a celebrity for a day” whole thing is. You looked through all the before & afters and the testimonials and now you’re thinking about booking a shoot. Well here’s how you can book a shoot with David.
1. Don’t Worry, Be Happy.
Before you actually book David for a shoot, David makes sure to have a chat with you (whether that’s in-person at the studio or over the phone). So don’t worry and be happy! As much as you want to find out if this is going to be a great experience for you, David equally wants to know if this is a good fit for you. Here are some questions David will go through with you on the phone so you can be prepared.
What made you interested in doing a shoot with David?
Is there someone special you want to share the shoot with? (Family, partner, daughter, dog, co-founder, etc)
Are there certain images that spoke out to you in David’s work?
When was the last time you were photographed?
What is your style like?
What do you think you’d like to do with your images when you get them?
These are all questions that will quickly help David understand what kind of shoot you’re thinking about and the vision you have. If you are thinking about sharing your shoot with your family or partner, it might be a good idea to talk to them about their availability prior to the chat with David.
2. Scheduling a call with David
Now that you have those answers in your head, you’re ready for a chat with David and it’s super easy to set that up and there are two ways to do that. You can send David a message by going to the “contact” link here. to fill out a 10-second form and David will give you a call as soon as he can. You also have the option to schedule a specific date and time with David and the option to do an in-person meet & chat if you go this “book now” link here.
3.Booking your shoot
So you’re on a call with David and you’re having a blast (you typically do with David) and you rocked all the questions he threw at you because of this blog. He’s gone through the different products offered in the studio and how much you would be looking to spend based on what you told David. You go over some possible dates with David, find a matching date, pay the session fee and you’re set to go, my friend! You have successfully booked a portrait photography session in Sacramento with David. You’re in for an incredible luxury experience and now it’s all about planning the shoot which you can more about here.
